ADVANCING INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

Our Heritage: From One Man's Vision to Global Impact

The story of AIM begins with a missionary's burden and God's faithful provision. Dr. James "Johnny" Daniels, our founder and church planter, first answered God's call to Dominica, where he spent six years establishing a local church. But the Lord wasn't finished directing his path.
With divine guidance, Dr. Daniels moved to Carolina, Puerto Rico, where he planted Calvary Baptist Tabernacle. Throughout his ministry, the number 33 remained impressed upon his heart—a vision of 33 churches he would plant for God's glory. What Dr. Daniels couldn't foresee was how God would multiply this vision beyond his initial understanding.
Rather than planting 33 churches by himself, God had a greater plan: to raise up nationals through Calvary Baptist Bible College who would carry the Gospel back to their own countries. Today, this vision has expanded far beyond 33 churches, with graduates serving in 20 countries around the world.

A Global Vision, A Local Foundation

What began in Puerto Rico and the West Indies has grown into a worldwide ministry. Through Calvary Baptist Bible College, established under the covering of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, we've been privileged to train nationals who now serve as effective witnesses in their own cultures and languages.
Our founding prayer was simple yet profound: that God would bless us with a ministry where the sun never sets on the furtherance of the Gospel. Today, we witness that prayer being answered beyond measure as the work continues to expand through our graduates and partner ministries.

Our Mission

AIM exists to advance the Gospel worldwide through nationals who have been thoroughly equipped with sound biblical teaching and grounded in New Testament church principles. We believe the most effective missions strategy is empowering local believers to reach their own cultures with Christ's message.

Our Approach

AIM focuses on:
  • Training indigenous leaders through comprehensive biblical education
  • Supporting national pastors who understand their cultural context
  • Establishing self-sustaining churches rooted in biblical principles
  • Creating a global network of like-minded ministries and leaders
